Aroma: intense caramel, sweet citrus fruits, milk shake, heavy floral hops. Appearance: clear, dark gold, medium, off-white head. Taste: medium sweet. Palate: honey molasses, marmalade, bitter orange. Overall: not a bad IPA, nice palate. Pint at Craft Beer Rising, Shoreditch.

Keg at Craft Beer Rising. A clear red amber colour with a frothy off white head. Aroma of caramel, toasted malts, some orange, slight grapefruit and subtle pine. Taste of orange marmalade, toasted malts, some grapefruit, a little resin, subtle dark fruits and subtle burnt toast. Medium bodied and an oily texture. A surprisingly sweet, resinous hop bitterness in the finish. Started off quite malty and sweet for an IPA, but then the grapefruit and resin came through, plus it’s got a great body.

from Fork&Bottle - pours a pale amber beer with a decent head retention; aroma of figs and cacao, lemony and grassy hoppiness in the background; a good malt backbone; a murky bitterness, more caramel and dried fruits in the finish

UPDATED: AUG 14, 2015 Not bad but nothing special either. A perfectly acceptable tipple but more European in style than a true IPA.

At a tasting, thanks, small bubbly head, quite cloudy deep orange color, grainy flowery aroma with some light fruit in the back, shrubby herbal flavor and medium but pronounced bitterness, bready maltiness in the back, light to medium sweetness. Nice.

Bottle shared at a tasting. Hazy orange color. Smell of stale fruity hops and caramel. Sweetish malt, fruity, earthy hops with strong bitterness. Medium-bodied.
