Rossa aggressiva a cui non dare troppa confidenza. Rivela una personalità intensa e complessa, con un debole per i luppoli americani.
Di colore rosso rubino e dal sentore caramellato, è ben bilanciata da una vagonata di luppolo.

Not particularly aggressive at 60ibu but all the better for it. Good balance, again, with malt sweetness, toffee, and a gradually firming backbone of hops. Bitter finish that is quite tradition. Vg balance and length.

15cl. at Brassigaume 2013. Pours a dark amber colour with a light and thin tan head. Aroma is hoppy, fruity and light flowery. Medium and lively carbonation with a medium body. Flavour is quite bitter with a dry end. Overall, a nice beer that I would like to try in another environment.

(draught) pours a slightly hazy amber colour with a frothy white head. aroma of caramel, light sweatsocks, herbal hops, peaches, vanilla and bread dough, with a light hint of bretty funk. flavour is mostly the same, with some notes of lemons, yeast, pale malts, nettles and some quite heavy alcohol in the medium-bitter finish. light to medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Ambrée très orangée, pas de bulle, peu de mousse. Nez légérement floral, peu d’arome. En bouche, le houblon domine, un peu de malt néanmoins. Amertume persistante. IPA honnête sans plus.

330 ml bottle.
Pours a dark copper amber colour with a large thick foamy head. Aroma of dust, red berries, grass and some metallic notes. Flavour of pale malts, sweet apricot, red berries, some tartness, grass, metallic notes, caramel and grassy bitterness. Medium bodied, high carbonation and a sweet, metallic, berryish finish. Off-flavours ruin the show.

Peccato perchè sia all’occhio che al naso prometteva abbastanza bene, mentre al palato non mi convice del tutto, slegata ma soprattutto già a mezzo bicchiere diventa quasi noiosa.

UPDATED: NOV 2, 2013 Bottled 27/06/13. A darkish brown coloured beer with a little off-white head. A reasonably hoppy beer. Malts are fairly sweet and there’s quite a lot of chocolate malt. Quite endearing and enjoyable. Score 3.6
