Ambrata chiara dal profumo estremamente fruttato. Il sentore di agrumi e di frutta tropicale è supportato da un amaro delicato e da un leggero finale caramellato.

STILE: American Amber Ale

Malti: Pale, Monaco, Crystal
Luppoli: Columbus, Citra, Sorachi Ace, Centennial, BramlingX, Nelson Sauvin

Bel colore ambrato e schiuma compatta color ecru.

Notevole.

UPDATED: JUN 29, 2014 Bottle at La Cantina Di Miky, Monterosso. Murky bronze body with a thin off-white head. Steady carbonation. Excellent lacing. Aroma of fennel, lightly toasted bread, berries and a hint of filter coffee. Flavour of green apple, caramel, yeast and lime. Medium body with a frothy texture. Soft fizz. I agree with DruncanVeasey - this is Mikkeller-esque in terms of mouthfeel and hoppiness. Very nice indeed.

Unclear reddish of color with an off white head. An aroma of spice, hops and fresh. A flavor of citrus, herbs, fresh and weak malty.

(Keg at Kaisla, 20140528) The beer poured amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized, white and it lasted long. Aroma had fruitiness, grapefruit and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, sweetness, malts, grass and bitterness. Afteraste was hoppy, sweet and bitter. A nice clean hoppy pale ale. A bonus for well hidden sorachi ace.

Trübes dunkel bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch fruchtig, hopfig, tropische Früchte, süß malzig. So ist auch der Geschmack.

Bottle: The aroma consists of light-moderate caramel, toffee, light cookie dough, and citrus hops. It pours a hazy dark amber with a large creamy off-white head that has ridiculous retention. A lot of large clumpy lacing is left on the sides of the glass. I rarely give 5’s for appearance, but it would be really hard to argue that an Amber Ale could look better than this beer. The flavor starts with light-moderate fruit, light citrus, and lighter caramel. The finish has light citrus hops, dusty notes, and the faintest hint of roasted nuts. It’s light bodied with moderate-lively carbonation. Overall, I’m not an Amber Ale fan, but this has to be one of the better examples I’ve had that still resembles an actual Amber Ale...and not some hopped up version or hybrid beer that gets labeled an Amber.

Nice looking maker body and stable bubbly head. Vienna malts, bit caramelised pear, herbal and modern hops but they don’t punch you in the face. Drinks smoothly, light pleasant bitterness. Good brew, don’t mind the lower hop profile at all. (33cl bottle from Saveur Bière)

Draught at the Tuulensuu, Tampere, Finland. Hazy dark amber brown colour with a small light tan head. Mild fruity hops, sweetness, mild herbs, malt and a hint of bitterness in the aroma. Rather fresh. The flavour is floral and herbal hops, mild bitterness, dryish malt and some herbal notes. Quite fresh and light Amber Ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
