Hazy brownish amber, head is like whipped cream, nice yellowish white and leaves lacing. Lightly roasted, caramel malt, citrus, sweet and fruity. Really soft and round palate, semisweet, medium bitter, malty, soft carbonation, long malty finish with nice bitter kick, medium body. Tasty, nice palate.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20

Hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and a little dry. Sweetish malts, dry cream. Little alcohol spice. Mildly spicy orange hops. Light dry finish. Pretty clunky for a dipa but a passable beer.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
My Bottom Line:
This muddled Double IPA manages to share oranges and resins through caramelized sweetness in an otherwise hot and yeasty profile.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy sheet of foam tops the opaque amber.
-The finish is surprisingly not excessively bitter.
-Alcohol warmth is not necessary in here, in my opinion.
-This may be flavourful, but the execution is too unrefined to showcase all these characterful hops.
-This is the type of Double IPA which is common in countries where the style is quite new. More hops, more malt, more alcohol, yes, but the result doesn’t necessarily yield more flavour or more pleasure.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from a shop in Bergamo airport (€ 6) in June 2014. Pours a deep copperish amber with a tan, retaining head. The aroma jumps out of the bottle straight into the brain - it’s terrific! A tropical fruit cocktail. Sweet caramel there, too, with some spicy tones. Taste is more malty - it’s a sweet caramelly-biscuity base with a big tropical hoppy bitterness on top of that. A medium body, soft carbonation, silky smooth mouthfeel, and a massive bitterness in the finish. Refreshing, too. Perfect to end a hot, tiring midsummer’s workday.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
330ml bottle. Clear, copper colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Citrusy, minimally sweaty, piney hop aroma, hints of orange and lemon, a touch of pineapple, biscuity caramel malty basis. Taste is crisp bitter hoppy, citrusy, notes of lemon, orange, a touch of pine, caramel malty backbone. Quite standard in a sense (or to put it this way, following a distinguishable ideal), but exactly the standard that took great efforts for the precursors to develope it over years, and therefore exactly the level of artisanship you have to reach as a brewer before you seriously should think about setting new standards, about improvement and variation of a style; hence not avant-garde, but a really nice DIPA.

Amber copper with white persistent foam. Nose is fruity and floral, very aromatic. Medium to full body, a bit syrupy. Taste is hoppy, fruity, with an herbal spicy long end and aftertaste.very alchoolic however.
