Cask conditioned at The Cornubia, Bristol. Amber with white head. This proved to be a pleasantly hopped little number, fairly crisp, some citrus hints and just about drying on the palate. Makes a decent session Bitter at the start of a long day.

Cask at Pave in Hull, shared with Finn. Decent white head to a clear amber-gold body. Aroma of lemony hops, half-dry. Citrus and earthy malts to the taste buds. Drying end with a malt-fruity twist. A bit thin on the swallow. Fair enough (24.11.2015).

UPDATED: AUG 24, 2015 This beer and brewer sounds like an late 60s/early 70s heavy rock outfit,I can picture it now: "Heavy industry the new LP by Electric Mountain available now at Woolworths, W H Smiths and all good record shops". Enough tittle-tattle....back to the beer. Honey coloured pour with a white head. Malt, toffee and citrus aroma. Flavours of vanilla, light malt and soft fruit. Not bad.

Cask-conditioned at the Cornubia, Bristol 6/1/2015. Amber with a slight, white, head. Sweetish, biscuity malts, some berry and tangerine fruits and a decent, bitter, finish. Good.

On keg at Beer Dock, Crewe. Pours amber with a slight haze. A bland biiter ale, about as exciting as trimming a hedge.

Cask at The Anchor, Digbeth, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a bubbly white head and some broken lace. The aroma is light malt. The flavour is medium bitter with a smooth malt big hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. One of the most bitter bitters I’ve ever had. Lekker!

Bottle: Nose is cereal, slight caramel. Very light and fades quickly. Taste is slight toffee, light malt, good resin in the finish. Mouthfeel is slick. Overall a good session beer, which is lifted above ordinary by the interesting resin in the finish.
