Nice hoppy aroma. Piny with some tropical fruits. However there is some suphur in the background bringing the rating down a notch.
Clear amber in color but could have gone with more foam.
There is some of the tropical fruits and a medium bitterness, however it feels a bit watered down.
The palate is nice. Light in body and dry. Medium finish with some bitterness.
It is not a bad beer but not better than okey either. The aroma is nice except for the sulphur but it is lacking in taste. Although it is nice to find a pale ale that is actually so dry and not caramelly

Gylden gul med hvitt skum. Grapefruktlukt. Mildere grape enn lukten tilsier, også smak av andre sitrusfrukter. Litt søt. Rund og fin, medium bitter

Bottle from Systemet. Weak head, cloudy amber body. Aroma with pine and resin. Very fresh taste, crisp, with slight bitterness and citrus (english marmelade). Also a tinge of heather. An excellent APA. Will buy this again, and again… ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: OCT 9, 2013 Mild but pleasant aroma, good color but weak foam. Taste is mild but full and the palate is good and hoppy. Good beer for crisps or beer sausage.

En APA i den tunnare ändan av skalan. Lättdrucken och snäll. Inte så illa faktiskt! EN går framåt!

Bottle 33 cl. A hazy amber colour with a small, off-white head. An aroma of malt and tropical fruit. The taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with the expected fruitiness. Medium body and oily texture. Nothing out of the ordinary and no major flaws.

På gambrinus årliga SM-provning 2013. Nominerad till årets nykomling. ( har dock missat att notera placering). Dämpad doft. Halvfräsch humle men dämpad. Inget fel men ej heller något som imponerar. Välgjord utan felsmaker

Bottle from Systembolaget, Haparanda. Clear golden beer with a small white head. Not very strong aroma is fresh, flowery, soapy and hoppy. Lightly malty flavour has quite low bitterness for a APA. Grassy hops, sweetish fruitness. Refreshing and quite light. Tasted so many good APA’s this summer and this is not among the best but good light version of the style though.

Bottle. Hazy, golden amber with a medium sized white head. Grassy and citric aroma; Citra hops are quite apparent. Also notes of straw and hay. Has a light sweetness in the beginning leaving traces of bread and citrus fruit, before a good amount of bitterness and some salt hits the tongue. A detected just a hint of tartness in there, which I’m not sure how to interpret. The smell of my hard working feet could have been playing with my mind, but I reckon it’s either my tastebuds being extra receptable to it this day or a minor flaw in an otherwise above averagen beer. If the latter is the case, it’s surely an unwanted error with this specific bottle/batch. Or maybe the brewer just has the same kind of smelly feet as I do. :-/
