yespr (11644), Copenhagen O, Denmark Nov 27, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours dark orange with a diminished white head. Aroma is mild fruity and slight malty. Light orange to apple fruity flavoured with a mild and dry malty note showing through. Dry and slight yeasty and spiced finish. Light brew with a mild malt body. MiP (8793), Sønderborg, Denmark Oct 29, 2008 Bottle, 6.5%. Weak lagery aroma. Seemingly clear dark amber colour. Nice big stable frothy and creamy white head. The flavour is a bit yeasty with some grassy aroma hops, getting slightly sour. Creamy mouthfeel. Like a flavourful Irish ale. ogivlado (3036), Zagreb, Croatia Sep 2, 2008 Bottled(330ml). -Slight hazy orange/golden coloured, small white head. Weak malty, sweet honeyish and caramel taste with notes of toffee and figs.Quite weak palate, some green apples and raisins in the finish. To sweet and also unbalanced beer. thebeertourist (2751), Oslo, Norway Sep 18, 2007 from bottle@In De wildeman, amsterdam. Hazy bronze with a small tan head. Nutty aroma with hints of raisins. Dryish nutty flavours, some caramel and fruit. Quite alright. jbrus (4835), Delft, Netherlands Aug 17, 2007 Bottle@Home. Aroma of raisin, plum and some carbonation. Orange/brown color, yellowish head, few lace. Very sweet, raisin, figues, lightly smoked, light bitter. Sugarwater mouthfeel. Smells a bit amateuristic but the flavors are very nice. Is miss the correct balance though and the mouthfeel is certainly disappointing. altonbrownd (1862), Amsterdam, Netherlands Jun 12, 2007 Bottle at home. Red brown colour. Very poignant aroma. Honey but also wheat and spices. Lots of different flavours, toffee, honey, orange, but also a bit off. I checked the bottle and says good until August 2008. Not sure about this one. TBone (6677), Pori, Finland Jun 12, 2007 Bottled (BB 08/2008)
Hazy red-ruby color, big brown/yellow head, which fades away. Dark fruits, raisins, honey, toffee and wet cat in the nose. Crisp mouthfeel. Light palate, sweet honey notes. raisins and tangerine plus some barnyardish flavors. Much too light, I can’t even trace alcohol here. Dissapointing brew because their Winterprinses was so good. maeib (4683), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England May 15, 2006 Bottled. A slightly hazy orange coloured beer with no head. The aroma is quite thin but has an underlying honey like sweetness. The taste also is quite thin; there are yeast notes and again a touch of honey sweetness. Nothing much going on but nothing untoward either.
