COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This innovative ale, burnished chestnut in color, contains the malt characteristics of an ESB without the typical bitterness. Lighter carbonation highlights the oak-aged flavor and its enduring tones of toasted vanilla and spice.

Tasting at the Belmont Craft Beer Cellar. Pours a hazy light amber with a white head. Tons of carbonation. Can definitely taste the oak in this one and a bit of vanilla and not much else.

I had this yesterday so I get describe it well enough. But I can say for certain that is was just okay. I prefer their red giant or dark element a lot more.

Draft at the growler NYC. Brown color with a nutty malty flavor with vanilla hints. Lighter drinking for the abv listed. Not bad ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very oak taste and aroma. Unfortunately it doesn't add much to the flavor and the color is cloudy and an unattractive. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Chestnut brown, bright, a few mm of tan head. Aroma/flavor dominated by astringent Styrofoam/chemical flavors. This must be a bad (oxidized?) batch.

Draft. Poured copper with an off-white head. Aroma and flavor were very woody, moderately malty. Strange chemical flavors. Iíll pass.
