Bottle. Pours a pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy and weak caramel aroma. Sweetish malty woody oaky caramel flavor with weak smoky hints. Has a sweetish malty woody caramel finish.

Bottle. Unclear golden with a white head. The vanilla oak flavour dominates. There’s lots of malt going on and a typical bitter finish. An interesting ESB.

Bottle. Golden clear in the first tap. Haze in the latter. Small head. Low carbonation. Pronounced oak alcoholic aromas. Some malts. Alcoholic soft dry taste of leather and oak. A fine brew.

Golden color with small white head. Aroma is malty with a little spice. Medium body, some carbonation. Crisp with a little wood and dry but just borderline bitter. Ok but not my favorite.

Bottle at DSG 2011. Golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is oak, vanilla, alcohol, malt, hop. Flavour is oak, vanilla, alcohol, malt, hop. Nice beer.

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, Ulfborg 2011. Golden/orange color with a tiny off-white head. Sweet maltyx aroma and flavour. Caramel, spices, oak and a slight disturbing rubber.

Sample pour after tasting. Pours out a decent tan hue. Aromas are woody and sweet some sharper notes. Palate is very bland, smooth across, but I’m not picking up any of the wood flavors, nor any hops. Really just a bland mess, the dud of the brewery, which I tend to think makes decent beer.

Bottle passed onto me by Jan & Charlotte, many thanks to a very generous couple. Consumed 30.12.11 Pours dark amber with a slight haze. Woody and spicy on nose and also in mouth. A little appley tang also picked up. Gentle warmth throughout, good beer. b] A6 A3 T7 P3 Ov13 3.2

on tap-pours an off white head and gold color. Aroma is light/medium malt-bready, oak/wood. Taste is light/medium malt-bready, oak/wood. Dry/wood finish. Clean.
