Bottle 750ml. @ The Danish Summer Gathering, TFODRBSG11.

Clear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, rubber - smoke, leather, wood. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, rubber ! Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110820]

Bottled. An amber beer with an orangey head. The aroma has notes of malt, alcohol, and fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, fruit, spices, caramel, and wood, leading to a smooth lightly bretty finish.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours a clear deep golden with a small off-white head. Dry oaky and slightly inky aroma, a tarry touch. Medium body, rather subtle maltiness, a little dry caramel and then again this very, very dry and inky oakiness. Ends dry and bitter. For once a not overly sweet oak aged beer, but I’m not really convinced. 230711

75 cL bottle. Pours hazy dark orange to brown with a huge off-white to tan head. Aroma is light malty and caramelish. Mild sweet, caramelish, vague metallic and subdued bitter flavoured. Smooth vanilla touch. Lingering malty and caramelish into the finish. Slowly increasing vanilla presence into the far finish.

Bottle at Ølbutikken. Clear orange coloured with a medium sized white head. Fruity aroma of caramel, oak and vanilla with notes of hops. Fruity flavour of grass and hops with notes of oak and vanilla. Hoppy finish.

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, Ulfborg 2011. Pours cloudy amber with a small creamy head. A bit of vanilla and toffee. Sweet. Tasty.. But what is the point?.

Bottle. Pours a pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy and weak caramel aroma. Sweetish malty woody oaky caramel flavor with weak smoky hints. Has a sweetish malty woody caramel finish.

Bottle at Ølbutikken. Clear golden/amber – white head. Nice malty, sweetness, nutty, peated, tarmac, smokey, caramel, wooden, tannins, oakey, light ashes. A bit strange – OK.

Bottle, 75cl corked. More or less see-through, golden in color and with a small, dense, beige head. Rather malty on the nose, some fruityness too, as well as an oaked touch. A bit boring I think. Medium body, quite dry. Caramel, oak, dust and some fruityness in the flavor. Lasting finish with a faint touch of vanilla and dust. Well, far from a favorite, but at least at least it looks luxurious. 110820

on tap-pours an off white head and gold color. Aroma is light/medium malt-bready, oak/wood. Taste is light/medium malt-bready, oak/wood. Dry/wood finish. Clean.
