On tap @ Elevation 66. Hazy orange pour with a white head. Nose is pine, grapefruit, and dough. A lot of grass, some peach, and orange. Okay. Decent bitterness to the flavor. Some pine, grapefruit, and orange peel. A touch of bread and dough sweetness, too. A bit grassy on the palate. Kind of astringent.

On tap at Elevation 66 poured a clear golden amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of biscuit, earthiness, grapefruit, orange zest and pine, Palate was light to medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, grapefruit, light pine and light carmel with a crisp dry bitter lingering grapefruit finish.

On tap at brewery. Clear golden with a fizzy white head. Nice floral citrus and caramel aroma. Nicely balanced malt with a grapefruit and citrus hops bitterness. Good, crisp, solid IPA.

joeneugs (3175) - Livermore, California, USA - NOV 6, 2011
On draft at the brewpub. It pours golden orange and a shade lighter than their British IPA with an off white head. The aroma is a nice combination of tropical and citrus hops. The flavor is the same with more emphasis on citrus. The finish is very bitter, dry, and grassy. Nice lacing on the glass and good body/carbonation. I’m impressed.

A - Served a hazy amber-orange color with a finger of frothy off-white head. The head fades down slowly leaving behind some good lacing. S - Aroma is full of big citrus hops with a bit of pine and some sweet caramel malts with a touch of bread. T - Starts off with some big citrus and grapefruit hops with some good bitterness and a bit of caramel malts. Through the middle some more bitterness comes through with some light bready malts. The finish adds a bit of pine with some good bitterness and sweet caramel malts lingering. M - Medium-plus bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a dry and bitter finish. D - Very drinkable. Really nice hop profile with some good strong bitterness throughout.

A decent IPA, not very bitter. Pours a nice golden color. Smells like hops. Taste is sweet, some grapefruit, with a slightly hoppy finish. Had on tap at the brewery. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at brewpub (batch #1) - very floral. Piney hop aroma. Resiny flavor. Cascades?? Cloudy rust colored body. Good stuff! Think this is their best beer so far.

Tap: orange/amber with medium white head, abv: 7.0. Aroma is citrus and pine hop with a toasted bread malt nose. Flavor is mostly citrus orange/grapefruit with a little pine hop bitter, toasted malt and a nice dry bitter to finish. Palate is slightly sweet with a dry bitter carrying to the end and a malty not too thick mouth feel. This beer is pretty easy drinking for a heavier IPA. I will be drinking much more.
