COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hailing from Cologne Germany this rare style of ale is served in a Stange glass to highlight its straw color, high carbonation, and easy drinkability. Notes of bread and a slight bitterness make this an easy drinking Ale.

Tap @ Colorado Craft Beer Kickoff Week at Falling Rock. Pours a clear, yellow appearance with a white head. Zesty, herbal, dandelion, honey aroma. Fairly sweet, honey, slightly toasted malty flavor. Fairly easy to drink, but really needs to be drier. The amount of sweetness for the style is too much. I’m not a big fan of the style but I was surprised to see the high ratings for this beer.

On tap poured a slightly hazy yellow hue w/ a frothy white head of short retention and some lacing. Fair aromas of malt, bread, and peppery hop. Taste is light malts, hint of citrus, on a backbone of hay and grain, makes for a crisp fresh taste. Light bodied, lively carbonation and watery texture.

Draft at the brewery. Served in Stange glass. Pours a thick, fluffy, white head, short retention, some lacing, over a slightly hazy, yellow (SRM 3) body....nose is light malts, with hints of bread, mild hop spice....taste is light malts, hints of lemon, pear, hints of sweetness, finishing dry with a light bitterness....mouth feel light, carbonation adds a slight tingle. This is light, delicate and refreshing. It meets the style quite well. BJCP 7/3/15/4/7
