Much like the magical movies of our childhood, running a brewery in a town far, far, away with great friends and family can seem like a dream. From sharing a pint with co-workers after a long day on the bottling line, to pouring our beers at the Great American Beer Festival next to my beautiful wife, sometimes the blessings I have received in my life can seem, well…inconceivable. A bold beer that no one has brewed before, this barrel aged double IPA somehow retains its lively hops while combining with flavors of vanilla and oak from our new barrels to create a beer that tastes of fortune and glory. Cheers. Xandy Bustamante

Bomber - pours a cloudy golden copper color with a med soapy straw yellow head that leaves frothy lacing. Not a big aroma but I detect plenty of caramel to match the hoppy bitter citrus and pine notes and a little wood on the end. Good complexity of flavors and lingering bitter aftertaste. I pick up complex malt, ripe fruit, bitter pine, citrus zest and notes of vanilla oakiness.

750ml bottle. Oaky aroma with tangerine, pine and grapefruit hops as well as just a touch of vanilla. Pours copper colored with a huge off white head that has excellent retention and good lacing. Starts with smooth oak and some vanilla flavors with grapefruit citrus hoppiness. Finishes dry but smooth with some pine hop bitterness as well as a bit of tangerine. Excellent BA IPA!

Malty-floral but sticky nose. The beer starts floral and intense sticky. Pine, resin, lots of hops on a malty and not too sweetish body. Intense flora hops, nice moderate bitterness. Quite dry and intense hoppy-floral aftertaste. Very fresh and intense hopped. Great stuff! Complex, full-bodied, deep!

Big, bold, and oaky! Wow did I love this beer! Oxidation in the hops from barrel-aging, but not off putting at all. Everything really complemented the beer. Lots and lots of oak! It’s like smelling the inside of an oak barrel. Love it!
