On tap poured a clear red hue w/ quickly diminishing head. Moderate aroma of chardonnay and oak. Initial flavor light sweet with almost no noticeable sour in the finish. Very light belgian yeast and only a hint of funk the flavor of the chardonnay barrel is the focus of this beer. Light bodied, watery texture, soft carbonation. Drinks like a wine cooler, without a noticeable dryness this 7.5% will sneak up on you.

Bottle shared at Hunahpu Day in Tampa. Thanks! Golden amber pour with a medium fluffy head that lasted. Decent lacing spider webs. Aroma of white wine, green grapes, wood barrel, cereal, and straw. The taste was white wine, slight funk, slight spice, dough and apples/pears. Light body, good solid carb. FInish is wine barrel for sure.

Bottle shared @ CBC Clerkenwell. Picked this up at the wonderful Mr. B’s in Denver. The pour’s medium amber with a small head. The nose sickly sweet bruised apple. Pear. Strong buggy wood. The taste is wood heavy. Wine barrels? White grape. Some toffee-dipped apple. Medium body, slick mouthfeel. Overall, not my thing. Overly sweet and one-dimensional.

Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Many thanks to Jack for the CO obscurity. Pours clearish gold with a creamy, off-white head. Some ripe fruits in the nose, light alcohol, faint caramel, tangerine. Medium sweet flavor with juicy, ripe citrus fruits, doughy bread, toasty sugars, more tangerines. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Moderate warmth to finish, light doughy malts, tangerines. Very decent.

Sample from bottle. Hazy amber pour, with a white head. Fruity, sweet bread, apple sauce, and pear. Some old funky off flavors. Not very good.

Craft Clerkenwell tasting. Thanks Jack. Light haze, amber beer, good off white bubbly head. Palate is light and dry. Light grapey fruits go nicely with mellow vanilla oak. Light yeast. Fluffy airy finish.
