On tap at Elevator on 12/28/12. Clear reddish copper pour with a medium off-white head. Aroma of allspice, nutmeg, cinnamon, citrus zest and malt. Big orange flavor before the malt, cinnamon and ginger kick in. All flavors stay and play nice together all the way through the semi-dry finish. I really enjoyed this beer. Not sure if it’s just because I was expecting banana (because of the "Belgian" moniker) and instead got citrus, or if it was that I was getting a bit burned out on all the straight up spice beers and the orange was refreshing (in more ways than one). Let’s give them the benefit of the doubt and say it was just that damn good.
