2.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured a nice clear copper color from a 12 oz. bottle. Large foamy head and a small amount of carbonation. Not a great aroma and the taste is pretty flat. Easy to drink but not a lot of flavor depth.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
bottle @ Vino Bellissimo / Lima OH --- Clear mahogany amber with an over-zealous (takes over the glass - 6"+) tan head, globs of lace. Nice aroma of malt and hops. Taste is dark caramel malt that grows some in the palate before adding citrus hops in a finish that lingers into straight bitter. A good "American" ESB - lots of body good malt and hops.

On tap. Cooper color with almost no head. Sweet malt aroma. Malty taste and a little hoppy. Decent.

1.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
From a bottle smells rather friendly but then that first taste is wake up call. Yes, malty slightly sweet smell turns into big bud blast. Must be close to 7% or more, if that’s possible. Big long bitter alky malt finish. Some co2 almost saves my palate.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at a Max & Erma’s in Dayton. Poured a medium reddish amber, slight head. Aroma was faintly of caramel malts. Flavor matched, with some slight earthy hop notes on the finish that kept it from being too cloying. Fairly full bodied. Definitely boring. Not bad, but just wasn’t my cup of tea. Or mug of beer.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
12oz bottle pours a hazy brown with tons of frothy white head. Nose has some earthy malt, honeycomb but also a lot of wet paper bag, cracker too. Flavor has walnut skin, toast, wet paper bag. Herbal finish. Just bad.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is fairly light with some caramel malts and light hints of citrus hops. Flavor is mostly sweet from the malts with only just a hint of some hop character. Not that good of a brew.

12oz bottle into La Petite Tulipe - head galore! nose is sour and full of foam - yay old fucking beers. I will need to rerate this. this is probably even older than the Ohio Brewing Cardinal beer I’m storing for some reason. Tastes like metal... gross.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle, thanks to jsquire. Pours a cloudy brown with a huge off white head. The aroma is husky, yeasty, slight chocolate note. The flavor is husky, cardboard, some apple notes. This is super oxidized. Footbalmed.
