Poured a nice clear copper color from a 12 oz. bottle. Large foamy head and a small amount of carbonation. Not a great aroma and the taste is pretty flat. Easy to drink but not a lot of flavor depth.

Tap at gratzi. Nose is sweetish and warm. Full body and clean with some malt. Great color. Decent for a red and wouldn't turn away but not amazing.

Bottle. Milky caramel malt and hay aroma. Dark amber with small head. Lightly sweet nutty toffee malt and mildly bitter herbal hay flavor. Medium body. Decent.

haha more ohio crap, thick and caramelly. Tons of caramel sweetness, completely unbalanced crap. No hops at all what-so-ever.

12 oz bottle. Elevator Bleeding Buckeye Red Ale is a darker red amber beer. Nose is mostly medium roasted malt. Flavor is more of the same with just a faint hop presence. Body is medium and fluid. A decent middle of the road red ale.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: AUG 6, 2015 On tap at the brewpub where it is listed as a "Red Ale ... like an ESB".
Pours dark amber with good clarity, a very fine looking head and plenty of lacing
Aroma: mild aroma lacks hop presence, as expected
The flavor is a bit more hoppy, but still more malty, as expected for style. Good bitter-sweet balance.

The only good Buckeye is a bleeding one! Not bad. Not too heady. Wish it wasn't in a pint glass. Not super flavorful. Okay.

Pours a dull amber-brown with an off-white head. Toasted malt and nutty nose. Flavors approximate the nose. There is a peculiar hop presence that interferes with the presumed intention of the beer.

Has a very nice, sweet and inviting aroma but the taste is bitter and leaves a bit of a dry tongue. Has a dark color and has a medium amount of foam when poured....not a very good beer, don;t recommend it all for anyone.
