3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 chriso (7065) - London, - MAR 7, 2011
On tap at Elevator Brewing Co, Columbus OH, March 2010. No ABV stated. Attractive clear coppery red colour. Some caramel malt in the aroma. More caramel and a hint of toffee on the palate. OK. Didn’t realize it was actually a bitter rather than an "Irish Red".

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 steelhead3686 (149) - Athens, Ohio, USA - APR 1, 2012
From the bottle: Pours a clean, cear copper color with a large, white, frothy head. Slight hops aroma of spruce and citrus, but mostly malt with a nutty/toasted aroma. Medium sweetness with a slight bit of sweet and sour. The body is light with a mostly crisp, but slightly sticky, texture. The finish is clean and has just the right amount of bitterness. This is a delicious beer and if it is as good on tap I would be willing to pay bar price for a glass and maybe even a bottle.

on tap poured into a pint glass
a: nice translucent amber color, slight off white head with little retention
s: nice caramel malt profile, slight hint of hops
t: caramel malt and toffee give way to a slight hop assertivness. I taste a chalkyness... not pleasant.
m&d: slightly chewy mouth, medium bodied

Refrigerated bottle poured into a shaker. Pours amber with half inch off-white head that dissapates quckly. A little lacing, medium body, and watery texture. Taste is inbetween an ESB and an american red ale. Taste is malty bitterness and has a little off sourness in the middle very little in the finish.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market Dublin/Columbus. Pours a clear dark amber with a large frothy tan head. Took a while to pour the beer fully. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of stone fruits including peach and plum, caramel and faint hops. The taste is earthy notes, caramel, stone fruits and a bitter hop finish. Medium bodied.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 DrSilverworm (1040) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 24, 2011
12oz bottle, reviewed from notes taken during my lunch earlier today. An ESB??? I thought this was a red ale! No wonder I liked it so much... Clear orange color, minimal off-white head. Some spots of lace. Great spice aroma. Hearty, malty aroma. Great crisp carbonation, good texture, easy to drink. If it was a red ale, it would be a great red ale. It’s still a great ESB, but not as much relative to the style.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 LetsGoState (383) - Pennsylvania, USA - APR 7, 2011
Appearance is amber with a minimal head. Aroma is sweet malts consistent with its style. Taste seems to be almost all malts with little bitter hops. Overall a very solid beer.
