Draft sampler at brewpub. dark ambe color, spicy and nutty aroma, sweet malt flavor with some surprising hop bitterness. Brown ale isn’t my first choice of beer styles but this one is rather good.

Aug 1, 2008 Draft at brewpub. Light brown/amber body, sweet caramel nose, small head. Caramel with some malty notes, not particularly nutty.

May 1, 2008 Sampler@ brewpub. Poured dark orange. Very nice looking beer. Aroma of sweet malt and honey. Roasted nutty flavor, hints of honey, a tinge of citrus. Finished moderately dry and bitter. Not bad at all, and I am not a huge brown ale fan.

Dec 9, 2007 Draft. Surprise, brown in color. Nice hop aroma. Good nutty flavor with a good bitterness in the finish.
