2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 jrallen34 (3445) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 28, 2011
I had this on tap at Bob’s Bar...Pours a light, clear, and watery light red with brown highlights...The aroma is all alcohol, its show through way to strong, practically burns your nostrils, I can’t pull out anything else...The taste is light caramel but again all alcohol start to finish. This is not drinkable and a disappointing effort.

(Draught) Pours a golden amber body with a medium cream head. Aroma of nuts, toasted grain, raisins, and mustiness. Flavor of toasted grain, nuts, raisins, and some leather.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 1010 (310) - Marysville, Ohio, USA - SEP 29, 2010
Pours an amber color with a thin head. Not much depth to the taste although it seemed like it might have a high ABV. I would pass on this beer if offered again.
Sample at microbrew festival at the North market
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 3fourths (6406) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - SEP 23, 2010
draft. medium cola brown and clear. nose is mild sweat/BO, farts and sweaty dishtowel (the fart character being much more soggy/mossy than all of the flatulence experienced inside the beer festival space). harsh and rough texture with a moderate crispness from the lagering. mild flavors of toffee, sherry and cherry skin and high tannins finish this one out. pretty unpleasant to drink.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 JaBier (3249) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - AUG 2, 2010
Snifter at Elevator. Clear reddish/copper pour with a medium tan head. Caramel nose with a bit of berry and some liquer. Boozy flavor with caramel, dark fruit and a boozy finish that has some bitterness to it as well. Could use some time to calm down, but overall not bad.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Dogbrick (4842) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 13, 2010
UPDATED: JUL 15, 2010 Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a mostly clear dark amber color with a medium thin and rocky light beige head that evaporates steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. The aroma is malty with some boozy notes. Medium body with flavors of doughy malt, dark fruit and molasses. The finish is fruity with a sweet malt aftertaste. Above average overall.
