On tap at Elevator Brewing Co, Columbus OH, March 2010. Nitro pour by the look of it. Orange / amber colour. Very light haze. Some caramel in the aroma and flavour. Sweetish. Not much hop in evidence - just a touch of bitterness. Middle of the road. I don’t tend to find these "Irish" ales particularly interesting. This was no exception.

Pint at the brewpub on 3/4/10 as the March offering for the PHD program. Clear copper pour with a thick white nitro head. Malty nose with creamy caramel and it’s a bit corny like a cream ale. Creamy malt with caramel and a bit of hop before a dank finish. Texture is flat. Not my favorite of theirs.

On draught at the brewpub, this is the March selection in Elevator’s "PHD" program. Pours a clear dark amber color with a thin ivory white head that is lasting. Sheet of lacing on the glass. Aroma of sweet fruit and caramel. Medium, smooth body with a sweet caramel malt flavor along with some tropical fruit. Very low hops profile. The finish is sweet with a fruity aftertaste. Average at best overall.

Part of the PHD program at the brewpub. Pours a deep orange with a white head. Taste of sweet hops. a decent beer. pint draft
