I had this on tap at the Elevator Brewery and Drought Haus on 3/7/12. It has a slight hops aroma with a hint of citrus. Slight bitter taste with a hint of sweetness. The body is light with a thin texture and a slightly bitter finish. Not a bad beer, but there is nothing special about it. It is average at best.

12 ounce bottle, picked up as a single at the Kroger in Pickerington. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a slightly hazy golden color with a huge frothy white head. I had to let the head settle a bit before pouring the rest of the beer into the glass. The head stayed around a while, and there’s a lot of lacing. The brew smells like citrusy hops (grapefruit, lemon peel), wheat, and some cloves. The taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but I think the wheat flavor is strongest, then the citrusy hops, and then a bit of clove. Mouthfeel/body is light, with a high level of carbonation. I think it would be better if the carbonation was lowered some. I still think it’s a pretty decent brew, I’ll likely buy this again in the future.

Pours a hazy orange with a big white head, nice lacing. Aroma is pretty mild, some orange zest, mild fruity hops and some spice. Some tropical fruit flavors right on the front, wheat, mild hop bitterness, again a bit of pepper. Light body, high carbonation, very drinkable.

Bottle. Pours golden yellow with a white head. Aroma mostly of fresh floral hops. Flavor is hoppy with a hop-citrus finish. Hint of spice. Probably one of the better wheat beers I’ve tried; I enjoyed the pairing of the hop qualities of an IPA with the typical citrus flavors of a wit style brew.

Cool drawing on the label - a celebration of America? Light pale ale aroma with a nasty yeast undercurrent that I’ve noticed in other wheat brews. Toasty wheat brew (why is RB calling it an APA?) with a dash of lemon peel and a little honey. Light but good overall.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market Dublin/Columbus. Pours a slightly hazy pale amber color with a thin fizzy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of floral hops, apple, wheat and a bit of a minty hop note. Almost cidery. The taste is tart wheat malts, apples and a hoppy finish. A faint bit of bubblegum as well. Just a tad bit on the thin side with assertive carbonation. Decent.
