pours a deep brown color with a thin white head. Taste earthy with a nice finish. draft ale as part of the PHD program.

On draught at the brewpub, this is the November selection in Elevator’s "PHD" program. Pours a dark brownish-amber color with a thin off-white head that disappears quickly. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of sweet caramel malt and spices along with notes of fruit. Medium body with flavors of malt, ginger, bananas and other sweet fruits. The finish is malty with a sweet aftertaste. Not really what I would expect under this style, but it is a decent beer overall.

Tap at Elevator as the November offering in the PHD program. Pours clear red/copper with a thin off-white head. Aroma is sweet caramel, cherry, banana and clove. Flavor starts with sweet cherry, then turns to caramel, banana and spice before a semi-sweet finish.
