Dec 20, 2007 On tap at Oakroom, has a very strong aroma of hops... tastes fruity and has a smooth texture to it... definitely packs some alcohol ... good beer

Dec 13, 2007 On draft at the Oakroom in Athens. The waitress said it was 10% ABV. Copper colored and clear, with a small tan head. Impressive floral hop aroma for a barley wine, with some alcohol as well. Very smooth, with a medium body and little alcohol evident in the taste. Not too heavy. Very good.

Sep 8, 2007 Seasonal on tap at the brew pub...Sweet aromas of caramels and malts. Alcohol was pretty evident. Finish was a bit hoppier then I expected. This got better as it warmed. Not a bad barley wine.

Nov 1, 2006 Draft sample at brewpub. Poured dark copper with an average fizzy off-white head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Heavy tart fruit, dough and alcohol aroma. Medium to full body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Heavy balanced flavor with a heavy bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.
