On tap at Elevator Brewing Co, Columbus OH, March 2010. Bright straw colour. Sweetish with little bite. Soft and easy-drinking which, I suppose is what is intended. OK but I’m not really a big fan of the style to be honest.

Pours a golden hue with a nice frothy white head. Taste like a nice beer without much depth, but normal for this genre. draft pints

Objectively speaking: Quite a spot-on Kolsch, though perhaps a bit too vegetal.
I like: Felt it much more deversing than its current score indicates. Clean and gentle ale with soft noble hops notes that linger with their flowery notes. I’m partial to hallertauer. Gentle grassy finish. Light and soft maltiness. I would not mind a second glass.
I dislike: Almost a greenish tint to the hue. Celery notes disturb the overall poise.

Light yellow with creamy white head and lace. Butterscotch and thick and cloying aroma. Buttery flavor and light perfume. Good carbonation and mouthfeel. A very light and refreshing beer.

7/19/2007: Elevator XTRA Kölsch is a fairly typical/mediocre Kölsch beer. It has a clear straw color and a foamy white head. The aroma and flavor are much like a Pale Lager with a sprinkling of extra hops that adds a slightly grassy characteristic. Mild flavor overall. This is a decent beer. I probably wouldn’t order it again, but it fit the bill at the time after a long night of drinking!

Draught at the The Smiling Skull Saloon during the Ohio Brew Week in Athens, Ohio. Rating #10 for this beer...

Pale golden with mild carbonation holding a white head. Slightly bittered aroma, inoffensive. Light bodied with mild flavor... actually not much flavor at all. Never mind.

Very subtle nose of grass & yeast. The brew is a pale sparkling straw. The head is gone in a flash & leaves no lace. When a beer’s taste is much bigger than it’s color would suggest has to be one of my favorites when it comes to surprises. Exceptional balance, quite like a dortmunder; fruity, sweet and toasty. The finish is brief. The light body is lively and dry.

First tasted in a draft form and it was very tasty. Nice color, nice smell, not too hoppy. This is a local brew that isn’t too heavy abd you coud sit and drink it all night long.
