imdownthepub (10573) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 3, 2014
Bottled, 500ml from The Co-Op, Banbury. Brownish to amber with off white head. This proved to be a simple bitter, although with a touch of metallic, tinny notes. English hop notes, earthy, leafy with a thinnish malt body. Never really sure that a quaffing bitter really works in a bottle but drinkable.

500ml bottle (ChrisO’s, post RBESG2011 Sunday)
A dry and nutty bitter. Tastes a bit old, may have been past its BB. Solid enough, but nothing grabs you.
