Magic_dave6 (3420), Glasgow, Scotland May 11, 2008 Cask in the Bon Accord. Aroma is pale malts, some honey, grassy and slightly citrus. Taste is similar,m however everything is very minimal and unexciting.
renffisch (349), london, Greater London, England Jun 1, 2008 draught @ the swan. thank you jason for taking my pad with you to the bar to get the stats :-). it was a lazy day. Nose of caramel and malt. quite hazy amber good size off-white head. Sweet to start, quite tart bitter finish. bit watery in body though. alright. dnas2 (522), Yelverton, Devon., Devon, England May 24, 2008 Orangey appearance with a good sized head. Scent is of citrus hops with some nuts also. Some sweetness in the front, then a bitterness creeps up on you. Some dryness on the end. Lots of fruity hops: tastes mainly of mandarine, some earthy notes. I liked this a lot and mine was full of aromas, unlike some of the other comments here. chimp_lechamp (324), glasgow, Scotland May 13, 2008 cask at the bon accord- pours amber golden and clear, white head, creamy, nose is very light, slightly medicinal, almost apples. doesnt really have much of a smell. taste is the same very mild "almost a memory of apples" ina rundhaug tyrdal.
yes it is true. really light mild flavour. DruncanVeasey (1499), Burbage, Germany Apr 2, 2008 Bottled. Orange amber with slight mist and some lace. Bready malt nuttiness in the aroma, piney hop and some candyish sweetness. Earthy hop fruitiness hinting at apple, buttery malt, yeast, lemony hops, grain, some unpleasant alcohol/soapy bitterness. Whiskeyish afters not doing it for me. Faint conifer and buttery sweetness. OK.
