3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle thanks to mesandsim. Aroma is really hoppy, citrus and grassy, american style pale ale character alround. Taste is similar, very appealing indeed, the hop character is really good and exactly what i like in a beer. Very unexpectidly good.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
I’d never heard of this one before, but picked it up at Morrison’s. A cracking little drop - very similar to Summer Lightning. Very bitter, but citrusy and hops tastes too. A summer beer that should definitely be served a bit more chilled than a darker ale.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Blond and bitter. Slightly hoppy and a bit lively on opening although it soon settled down. No carbonation and easy to drink.Could have done with more hops to rid the sharpness that stops it from being an above average blonde ale.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: JAN 17, 2008 Bottle, out of the BHS selction bucket and back-to-back with the Newt. Orange amber with a slick of white suds, and notably silky m/f. Nose sweetly citrussy and pollen-sprinkled, with obvious peach, rose, orange and elderflower. Flavour-wise, plenty more of the same- aromatically floral and Turkish-delight accented with an assertive hop bitterness in the finish preventing things getting overly cloying or perfumey. Refreshing, tastily hopped ale.

Bottle. Large fluffy white head and a golden body. Nose has caramel notes and a light touch of fruit. In the mouth, more caramel, but bags more fruitiness. Tangerine and light lemon. Nothing too radical here, but a really nice solid sup-per with a strong sweet finish.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Amber beer with strong white head. The aroma is lightly malty, and the flavour is bitter with caramel maltyness. Overall a reasonable beer.

Bottle@Proeflokaal. Fruity and light grassy aroma. Clear yellow color, white head good lace. Light sweet, bitter, light fruity, hints of citrus, light grassy. Also some woodiness or something else that I can’t really figure out. Nice, refreshing ale.

Bottle from Morrisons. Gold with a good lacey white head. Chrisp and refreshing with a noticable tangy wheat edge. Plenty of hop characture too. A very enjoyable beer from the fridge.
