Cask HP at The Crosse Keys Bishopsgate as íElgoods Indian Summerí. Dark amber orange/brown, translucent, still with a scummy beige head, leaving very full lacing. Aroma is airy, sugary, light honey. Iím searching. Body is pretty smooth with tingly carbonation for cask. Taste is chewed white bread, pastries, slightest touch of bleach and soap, watery hop tea, soft bitterness. Itís ok. I could drink a lot if it. Itís a grower - I liked it more towards the end of my half. Still, nothing to write home about.

Cask conditioned Handpump Malt Shovel Northampton. A light amber coloured beer with an off-white head. Creamy and fruity in the nose. Similar in the mouth. There are berry notes but that creaminess makes it over sweet in places. Having said that itís drinakble enough.

Cask, handpull at Cloisters, Edinburgh, with Craig, Jan, Charlotte & Loz, 29.10.10 Pours golden in colour looks in terrific nick but bit darkish in here so tricky to be anymore descriptive than that. Soft and squidgy in the mouth, warm late summery feeling beer as the name suggests, however itís windy and autumnal outside. Bit sweet, some spice, itís ok. A6 A5 T7 P4 Ov13 3.5
