UPDATED: JUL 31, 2007 Jul 07 Cask conditioned @ South Western Arms, Soton. A sweetish fruity bitter which doesnt excite but slips down fairly easily. 2.8
Jul 04Gravity cask @ Hants Bowman, Dundridge. Copper-brown colour. Fruity (plum and prune), nutty malt. Quite sweet with not much bitterness but a refreshing bite at the end. 3.6

UPDATED: DEC 19, 2009 Amber with a lasting white head. Grassy and fruity aroma. Dry and thin grassy flavour with medium bitterness.

Cask@Market Porter. Copper brown color, small off-white head, lace. Light whisky fudge aroma. Toffeish flavor, low btterness. Quick finish.

UPDATED: AUG 15, 2009 Cask@The Cambridge. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is mild caramel, grassy hops, some fruits and also mild earthy notes. Flavour is quite much the same. Grassy and hayish finish. A few days later also at Market Porter, with almost exactly identical rating.

Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Gold amber, hazed, with white head. Fairly standard bitter with a slight fruitiness and sweetness, a little Wetherspoons special tartness, I reckon they should market this, cask ale with the Wetherspoons touch,a bit like a Belgian sour. Average sort of beer.

Amber with an orange biscuit scent. Well balanced. Slightly malty but otherwise quite bland and boring,

Cask Conditioned Handpump Wootton WMC Northants . A gold coloured beer with a thick pillowy white head and lacing. The aroma has fruit but is a little thin. The taste is fairly bitter behind a light fruitiness. Acceptable but overly safe.

Cask (handpump) @ The Swan Inn, Parson Drove, England PE13.
Clear medium to dark orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, fruity, candy sweet, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. (310708)

Cask (Regal, Cambridge)
Another reason to insult McSpoons. With challenger, as well as traditional bitter hops, this ought to be a great crisp golden ale. Instead, thanks to traditional Wetherspoons cellarmanship, it’s old and tired, and to be honest, bad. Must re-rate.

Cask at Clockwork, Glasgow. A hazy amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty, and so is the flavor, though also added a light citrusy note.
