Cask conditioned handpump Criterion Leicester 30/01/13. A slightly hazy golden coloured beer with a white head and lace. Fruity elemnetss to this with some sweet toffee notes. Reasonably tasty but lacks hop profile and doesn’t really go anywhere.

Cask conditioned at The New Inn, Witney, Oxon. Amber with white head. Grainy malts, slightly boiled caramel note, some biscuit, some dryness. Not much else comes along to tickle the taste-buds, fairly dull unfortunately.

Cask at The Regal, JDW, Cambridge. Pours clear gold with a small, white cream head. Lightly toasted pale malt nose, some dry hay. Light sweet flavour, crunchy hay, light bitterness, some citric bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately sweet finish with dry, simple malts, light wood and grass, dry and citric bitterness, dry hay. It’s OK.

Cask (Radegund, Cambridge)
White grapey sweetness. Pale orange, small loose head. Simple toffee malts. Non-descript bitterness. Some sulphur. A bit Adnamsy, and boring but clean.
