Cask conditioned handpump Eastgate Northampton 29/04/13 A yellowy gold coloured beer with a white head. A pleasant lemony hoppiness throughout with a nice malt balance. Clean and tasty. A good hoppy golden ale which is a move away from Elgoods.

The Baron of Hinckley, 16/04/13. Misted orange gold with a bright foamy head. Pine and aniseed aroma. Decent clean flavour with more pine and aniseed leading to a bread and nut husk aftertaste. Hint of sick. Just about keeps the twigs at bay. Not bad, not great.
