COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Special - April 2011 (Royal Wedding).

Windsor Knot contains a blend of Maris Otter and Flagon Pale Ale malt, the Flagon grown on the Royal Estate, Sandringham and an English Hop variety called Sovereign, which was bred in the 50th year of the Queen’s accession to the throne. Honey flavour is used in the recipe to compliment and prime the beer for sweetness – the perfect wedding ale!

Bottled. A golden headless beer. Way too much honeyed sweetness in this. It pretty much dominates everything. There is a little orangey hop late on. The honey really isn’t for me. This is a concept beer with a bad concept.
