Bottle shared at RBWG, poured a clear yellow color with aromas of honey. Flavoes were the same, just dry honey. Not much else going on, but still a nice honey flavor. Thabks to whoever brought this one.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 thedm (4783) - Fort Wayne, USA - FEB 23, 2013
This bottled mead from a rating party poured a extremely small sized head of frothy medium sized clear colored bubbles that were very quickly diminishing and left behind a uncarbonated transparent orange brown colored body and a oily lacing. The nice aroma was honey. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The nice flavor contained notes of sweet dry and honey. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 fiulijn (12360) - Malmö, DENMARK - FEB 1, 2013
Bottle, synthetic cork, from Les Abeilles, Rue de la Butte aux Cailles, Paris Measured Final Gravity: 1016 The color is very pale. The aroma is simple, of honey, but at least it’s fresh and fruity (peaches and a bit ot litchi). The mouthfeel is lean, the flavor is lightly sweet; there is a quite strong flavor of generic honey (usually not desired), and light fruity presence. It’s pleasant, but quite a basic one.
