Cask @ Cloisters, 26 Brougham St, Edinburgh, Scotland EH3 9JH.

[ As Elixir Sugar Lumps: The Revenge ].
Clear dark brown color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy earthy - bonfire, chili fruit sweet, wood. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, chili warm, smokey, bonfire. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20140316]

Cask at Cloisters. Pours black, sweet chocolate on the nose and a hint of spice, taste is rich sweet chocolate, liquorice, light earthy smokiness, then chili hits and destroys. Fantastic.

Cask @Cloisters. Pours almost black with just a thin red-ish hue, off white thin head. Nose is smokey and you can get the chillies coming through. Smokey at first taste then you get this huge chilli, overwhelming chilli kick. A touch too much chilli for me, well way to much in fact. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask at Cloisters. Pours very dark brown, near black, thick tan head. Big smoke on the aromas, some dark cooked sugar too. Taste has dark chocolate at first, then smoke, then a fiery kick that keeps on giving. Slightly overwhelming heat, but subsides at the end to a nice smokey finish. Good stuff.

Cask at cloisters. Initially sweet chocolate before a richer chewy liquorice appears. Chilli is nicely handled, apparent but not overpowering. Really good.
