Bottle 330ml.

[ Trade by cgarvieuk ]. Clear dark brown colour, speaking, with a large, frothy, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, nutty, chocolate, grass, light wood. Some odd thing in the aroma - maybe it is oat. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, fizzy, dark fruit, dark malt, tea bitter, oat acidic notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft and fizy. Thanks Craig, very grateful you did passing this beer on, Cheers Craig and well done on you 10K milestone. [20130112]

Bottled. A black beer with a huge fluffy dark brown head, seems infected. The aroma has notes coffee, brettanomyces, and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, coffee, and hints of brett, leading to a dry roasted finish. The body is light.

Thanks to Mr Garvie himself! Gusher! When under control it’s an opaque dark brown beer with a small pale tan head. Palate is light, airy and pretty dry. Mellow and dry dark malt. Pretty mild smoke. There is a different type of tang here that I would not normally associate with a porter so I assume is the tea. Finishes dry. Interesting but (cough) not my cup of tea!

Bottle thanks to Cgarvieuk, thanks Craig. Black beer with lasting beige head. Oatmeal stouty aroma. Yes a pretty tasty stout. Bit strange on the finish. Mind you, I don’t drink tea. Starts well and tails off a bit, but I think that is the tea. Anyway, thanks a lot Craig its been a huge amount of fun drinking with you.
