On tap at the brewpub. Noses soft in a few esters, some grains and a bit of wheat. Fresh. Pours a pale clearish golden, with a finger of white. Has that chill haze that all their beers do. Flavor is good. The 9% alcohol is very well buried in the beer. I really like the yeast profile in this beer. There some orange, ginger and pineapple character. A nice bright fruitiness that doesn’t go over the top. A nip thin and maybe grainy, but this is very decent. I was really happy to see a Belgian from Tim. Finishes dry and clean. Surprisingly drinkable for the alcohol. I might have expected a little more bodied and complexity from something of this gravity, but this is easily my favorite beer from this brewery now.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a medium golden color with a huge yellow-white head. The aroma was strong sweet, fruity and tart with a dryish finish. The flavor was sweet, tangy, fruity and sugary with a hint of dry spice and along tangy fruity finish. There was an undertone reminiscent of sweettart candies.

Draft at the brewery. BaSed golden honey color, minimal head. Fairly typical smell and flavor: candy sugar, simple base pils malt, moderately sweet. Little to no alcohol noticed. Seems spot on for Belgian tripple, not complex but still tasty enough.
