COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our light colored ale gains its subtle, bread-like flavor from a balanced combination of gently kilned malted barley and choice malted wheat. A restrained addition of select hops contributes a pleasingly delicate floral aroma.

Tap at EC, 4.5% abv, clear golden, short white lacing head. Heavy wheat nose, lightly sour (!) with candy, candied orange peel. Soft and bready medium body, ultra-malty, just super smooth and ultra-flavorful/characterful for the style, impressive! This was more of an American Wheat to me, and in that way, better than Gumballhead by a country mile.

Transfer from BA rated on 1-27-12 - Had on tap at pub served in a pint glass Appearance – Pale straw color with a large had that faded fast after serving leaving almost no lacing Smell - A very light hop aroma of pine and citrus are present. Some wheat and a bit of biscut work their way through. Taste – Very light and crisp. Wheat and a light amount sweetness coming in a bit later in the taste profile. There is a bit of citrus that lingers throughout the tasting experience. Mouthfeel – Light and crisp (just as with the taste). The carbonation is on par for its style. Overall – A very easy to down brew. Not the most flavorful, but would be very nice for a nice summer day.

Darft vai sampler at the brewpub during Campground Brewdown. Pourede a clear straw body with a minimal foamy white head. Aroma of grains, slight dry cereal, honey bran flakes. Medium bodied with average strong carbonation and a lingering aftertaste. Flavor of dry grains and cereal. This was actually pretty refreshing although forgettable.

Sampled on tap at Zeno’s. Honey and oats, like a cereal sweetness. No hops. Wheaty. Cleaned medium straw color with thin white head. Medium body with medium-high carbonation. Starts grainy with honey, wheat, and hoppy notes. An herbal-vegetal quality, too. Finish is grainy with light hop character. OK clean after.

Lawnmower beer. I dont mean that as an insult but it’s clean without a ton of hop flavor or malt. Pours from tap golden with a thin head that leaves some lacing.

Draught at the brewpub. Pours cloudy yellow with thin whitish head. The aroma is some fruity yeast notes, lemon, banana, and some spice. The flavor is white bread, yeast, faint clove and earth, and a grainy finish. Not bad at all.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a yellow-gold color with a small white head. The aroma was sweet, fruity and sugary. The flavor was sweet, bready, chewy and sugary with a moderate element of citrus and other ripe fruits and a tart citrusy finish. Very nice.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a middle gold, with soft white head. Light sweet grain musk for an aroma. Flavor is generally a calm, sweet lemon sugar, with light fermentation byproducts and touches of caramel. There’s a nip of fusel that throws this beer off a little. Otherwise, ends with a light gummy hop note. Mostly balanced. Could be cleaner.

kramer (5063) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 27, 2008
On tap, at brewpub. Poured a slightly hazy yellow gold body under a small fizzy white head. The nose was fairly intense for a Golden Ale, bready malt and crisp wheat with a hint of hops. The flavor was light as well, but very clean and crisp with alot of character for the typical "entry-level" beer that usually gets recommended to the Coors Light crowd. Mouthfeel is light bodied with moderate carbonation and a clean finish. This was really pretty darn good, and a nice start to the sampler. It kind of caught me off guard a little. This was the kind of beer that would be a nice stepping stone to the BMC drinker who stops in.
