Pour on tap for firkin wednesday is dark brownish almost black, murky looking with thin big bubbled white head. Aroma brought notes of caramel and slightly roasted malts, nice pine and grass notes, hints of spicy rye but fairly restrained. Taste is some nice spicy rye, slight roasted malt mixing into some grass and pine, caramel notes finish fairly bitter. Not a bad attempt, there was a slightly lack of carbonation that killed it, but overall good.
