draft. hazed amber. caramel and orange focused malt with spice and squash smelling hops. bitter but tempered by yeast, making the texture somewhat velvety and soft, which compensates for the rye seediness and resin / oiliness.

Pours on nitro tap slight hazy orange with nice creamy white head, aroma has notes of some pine, grass, slight citrus and biscuit notes, going into caramel as well. Taste is nice and creamy, but the taste lacks a bit, hints of grass and toffee, some slight citrus in there finishes nice and creamy but a bit lacking in flavor.

RSRIZZO (1679) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - AUG 21, 2011
On tap at Pikes Peak Brewing. Color is a golden orange with a slight haze. Carbonation is good with a thin tight head. Aroma is a light hop scent. It has a lighter medium body with a crisp mouth feel. Flavor a little weak with malt and corn then just a hint of hops that give it a bit of citrus. Overall its not a stand out IPA its just a little weak.
