downender (1510), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England Jul 14, 2008 Cask-conditioned at The Castle, London EC4 14/7/08. Amber coloured with a decent, off-white head. Fruity malt aroma with a hint of earthiness. Full mouth feel with plenty of chewy malt, some solid fruit and a long bitter finish. Good.
Mes_and_Sim (4176), London, Greater London, England Jul 22, 2008 A Mes rate: Gravicask at the Pembury. Clean golden brown with no head. Well balanced malt and hops nose, very bready and with some slight wheat and tobacco. The flavour is very good. Unusual and with plenty of character. Big bread and biscuit notes, good fruit, reasonably hopped and the four malts used really add some complexity. Excellent bitter and bready finish. Full of character and flavour. Very impressed for a 3.8% bitter. Quite like this brewer. cgarvieuk (2302), Edinburgh, Scotland Jun 13, 2008 Cask at Thomsons Edinburgh ... Clear medium amber color with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly - fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, roasted, toffee, kemi ! Flavor is light to moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft - flat.
