Comments: Quite hoppy and fruity pale ale with a crisp and citrusy hop bite.

Cask - The Royal Oak, Poringland. A clear and golden amber coloured beer with a loose-ish one-finger lasting & lacy white head. Like Horlicks on the nose, all malty, biscuity, yeasty & bready backed by a subtle citric note. A mix of bready, biscuity pale malts and bitter, pithy citrus flavours on the tongue. Quite bitter in the end despite the initial softness. Light to medium body, firm & soft mouthfeel with a lingering bitter finish.

Dark, gold with a weak head. A light but balanced aroma of fruity hop and malt. Dry taste with a good amount of hops backed up by a smooth malty flavour. Dry finish.

Cask @ Cloisters, Edinburgh. Sweet creamy biscuit malt aroma. Golden colour, good head. Spicy citrus fruit & resin flavour. Creamy bitter aftertaste. Good golden ale.

On cask at Cloisters. A blonde ale with a thin white head. Fruity aroma with pine, passion fruit and some barley notes. Flavours of barley, pine, orange and caramel. Moderate lingering bitterness. A little thin with an oily mouth-feel. OK.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2010, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.

Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, toasted, light to moderate hoppy, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, fresh, dry, hoppy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100804]

(Cask at GBBF, London Earl’s Court, 5 Aug 2010) Golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grass and lots of fresh hops. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, grass, grainy malt and fresh hops in the finish. Medium body, balanced sweetness. Tasty and refreshing. Nice one.

From cask. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small, creamy and dense head. Aroma is slight butterish and mild citrusy. Citrusy and bitter flavoured. Mild peachy. Citrusy and peachy dry and bitter into the finish.

Cask, tent, Hereford. Orange-gold with a skim of white. Tea, tangerines and biscuits aroma. Fresh balanced GA oozing tangerine cheesecake hops and malts. Soft, floral and a touch soapy. Long cashew malty linger. Lovely.

Cask @ Volunteer Arms, GBBF 2009. Pours a pale yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity malty bitter hoppy citrus flavor. Has a fruity malty bitter citrus hoppy finish.

Cask/handpump at GBBF 2009. Deep gold with big white head. Floral spicy hops on nose, big big clean bitter and citrus hop punch, with sharp bitter finish. Hard work to drink though!
