Cask conditioned at The Grove, Leeds. Mid brown with cream head. Slightly sweetish, malty mild, some fruitiness, simple on the palate though. Quite traditional.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Evening Star Brighton. A black coloure mild with a beautiful white bubbly head. The aroma is a little thin although there are some roasted malts in there. The taste is full amd malty. Some good roasty notes and a relly excellent tasty quaffability.

Cask handpump at Scarborough Hotel, Leeds. Deep ruby with lasting beige head. Really nice mild, plenty of choc/coffee malt, choc/coffee on aroma. Bit fo bite on end. Dry roasted malt is suberb. Good flavour for its strength.

Mid brown colour with a reddish hue. Smooth on the palate. Poured quite lively. Lasting slight roast finish.

Nutty brown in colour with a creamy head, the aromas are light, floral and typical of a mild. Flavours are smooth, nutty with some chocolate. There a quite a deal of hops on the finish. A good mild.

Dark ale appearance with a very foamy head. The aroma is lightly hopped and stronger than the alcoholic percentage suggests. The flavour has a lightly spiced hopped suggestion. Overall a nice mild, stronger tasting than the ABV.
