Cask conditioned handpump Criterion Leicester. A dark orange coloured beer with a white head. The aroma is of orange marmalade. A good thick mouthfeel with bittering hops and balancing sweet malts. A good body. A tasty and pretty complex beer with a pleasing aftertaste.

Cask, Criterion, Leicester. Amber brown with a thin foam. Aromas are weetabix and chocolate malts with ripe pear and hints of lemon. Earthy with caramel and lightly herbal. Flavours are sweet toffee and caramel malts with a peppery bitterness. Dry and spicy to finish. Quite cloying on the palate but the lightly bitter finish pulls it through. Decent.
