Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 11/9/08. Deep gold in colour with a slight off-white head. Aroma of grassy hops with a hint of pine and some sweet malt. Flavour was dominated by peppery, spicy hops with some caramel and a decent bitter finish. Very drinkable.

Cask handpull, The Greyhound, Coventry. Pale yellow lacing intricately. Yorkshire stone, galangal and flowers aroma with hints of tea and leafiness. Solid, well-stewed hop taste; lime and tropical fruits, celery, Darjeeling. Long biscuit and honeycomb-soft afters. Bang on form and probably the best beer I’ve had from Elland. Typically biting Yorkshire stuff..with a citrusy, floral twist. Excellent.

Cask Handpump at Huddersfield Food & Drink Festival, St George’s Square 15/08/2009 Hoppy aroma. Clear golden coloured floral and hoppy with a crisp and dry lasting malt finish.
