Pale golden in colour, this beer is brewed using a combination of three different malts and four different hops. It has a considerable floral, herby and spicy aroma with refreshing citrus hop and balanced malt flavours followed by a long fully hoppy aftertaste.

Cask conditioned at Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Gold with white head. Crisp, dry hoppy beer, there is a citric, lemony flavour from the hops, palate filling and cleansing, long finish. A really pleasing beer and in great condition.

Cask, The Black Horse, Walcote. Mellow orangey tang, pale pilsy grain and biscuit. Vanilla custard notes again. Nice, but lacking a bit of hop presence. Should have stayed on the Spotland.

Cask at GBBF 2007. A hazy dark golden beer with a cream colored head. The aroma is sweet malty and hoppy - the latter also giving it notes of grass. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of grass, leading to a dry bitter finish.

Golden with a small lasting head. Lemon and peach in the rather weak aroma. Semi sweet, fruity flavour with a nice clean hop finish.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Out Of The Vaults, Leicester. Had this on the back of Oakham 3 Witches, and i’s remarkably similar in both aroma and flavour. It’s hazy gold in colour and has an off-white coloured head. Again very hoppy and very APA like. Can’t separate the two beers, they are both lovely.
