Cask; Occasional.
This is a true American Pale Ale - the Recipe was created by an American Craft Brewer who is a member of the Grateful Deaf Brewing Society. It is strong, pale and hoppy with a superbly balanced long flavoursome finish.

Cask @ Bon Accord. Amber colour, thin off-white head. Aroma is hoppy, pine, malty, bit of caramel. Flavour is hoppy, caramel malts. A bit light bodied, otherwise well drinkable.

(Cask at Edgar Wallace, Strand, London, 3 Aug 2010) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of dried fruit, apricots and citrus. Malty, fruity taste with dried fruit, orange and a solid malt sweetness, leading to a bitter finish with generous doses of earthy, citrussy hops. More than medium body, fairly sweet. Very tasty and nice.

(cask @ Eailing BF 2010). Their porter was/iz very nice beer -so I was captivated by the name "Elland" and bough this expecting more fireworks. Not a bad offering at all, very nice even. Not aromatic in the APA way of things and that’s what its listed as . Malt is chewey . Hops musty and dusty. Plesant

If Earl Grey tea was a beer, this would be it! I know it says it is an American pale ale, but this beer tastes distinctly British. It poured a clear, golden amber color. The prevalent flavor and aroma were of tea, and it had a smooth, light palate. I quite enjoyed it. Keep on truckin’!

Cask@The Slug and Lettuce, Leicester. Dark amber beer with a fairly strong head. The aroma is gently hopped and the flavour is very well hopped and smooth. Overall a nice very drinkable well hopped beer.

7th August 2008. Secret tap at GBBF! - A freebie poured by the brewer and my namesake - Cheers Ken! Smooth creamy ale - nicely hopped and not too bitter. Aromatic soft finish.

Cask @ The White Horse: Not much of an aroma but there is a very bitter hit in the mouth joined by sweet candy notes.

Pours dark gold, with a distinct aroma that I couldn’t quite pinpoint (honey/treacle/malty caramel)...it was something like that old cereal Golden Grahames (what did they use in that!?). Breadish, banana flavour. Not sure about the condition(?).
