Cask @ 3 Judges. Odd. Very odd. Not a Kolsch, not a Golden Ale, maybe a little bit of both. Clear golden colour, thin white head. Nose is grassy, bit of diacetyl, wood polish. Velvety mouthfeeling. Flavour is buttery, grassy, estery, fairly bitter, bit hoppy. Slightly bitter finish.

Cask@Ealing BF. Quite pale in color. This had some subtle leafy hop notes and also a touch of melony fruit, quite citric as well. Drinkable.

A Mes rate: Gravicask. Boring watery and pissy lagerish and hoppy. Not a great beer.

Cask at the Myrtle Grove, Bingley, 19-05-06. A very decent blonde beer, described as a Kolsch on the label but I am stil not wordly wise enough on all aspects of continental styles to say how accurate that description is. In truth it was very different from your usual Blonde/Golden Ales and had a lovely soft maybe slightly vanilla and banana tones really very, very nice poured a slightly hazy golden colour my only real criticism was it was a touch sweet, otherwise extremely good.

Opened almost at the end of the festival, very nice, blonde bitter but interesting. A little sweet features in it.
