On cask at White Star, Stoke. Dark brown with tan head. Quite thin for a beer of this style, pleasant taste of hops/malts, not bad.

At Wetherspoons in Manchester.Rich creamy head, dark brown ale. Burnt toast flavour and on the nose. Nice finish, unfortunately not a great one from Elland.

Dark brown pint at Newcastle Arms. Smell is malty and an odd burnt toast aroma, flavour is very similar and I found the burnt flavour a bit offputting, decent bitter finish.
