Canopus, Borstal. Lovely flavour. Lovely condition. Good hop nip in the finish. Chocolate notes in a robust premium bitter style. Pulls above its strength. Damn fine beer. This is the reason I love cask bitter.

Cask handpull at The Wenlock Arms, London. Chestnut colour, lasting ivory head. Fresh on, decent malts, lovely, red fruits. OK balancing hop. Quite dry and sparkly. But this is about the red malts. Decent stuff, I like it. Like a proper Amerian red ale/amber ale. A bit like Laurelwood Organic Red, but English. Salty pork chops somewhere here. Bizarre and brilliant.
