Cask conditioned at The Anchor, Birmingham. Gold amber with white head. Fruity, malty ale type beer with a dose of caramel. Quite drying and bitter in the finish, heavy and a little cloying, but overall fairly good.

Cask, The Pub, Leicester. Copper with a fluffy cream foam. Aromas are toffee and berries with cream. Malty with citrus. Chocolate with earthy hops. Flavours are sweet malts soon followed by coffee and chocolate with woody aspects. Dry with grapefruit bitterness on the finish. Fairly evident alcohol. Good.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel Northampton. A copper coloured beer with an off-white head. The aroma is fruity with some boozy vinuous malts. The taste is warming with fruity sweet malty notes. The fruit does err on the heavy side which spoils a little.
